A folding scooter with front and rear brakes on the handlebars: Yedoo New City
Yedoo brand scooters have always offered V-Brake handlebar brakes, which are identical to those of mountain bikes. These are disc brakes that rub against the rim flange for safe and powerful braking. Yedoo equips all its models with handlebar brakes: Tidit for small children, New City for the family or Wolfer for performance.
A foldable city scooter with handlebar brake: Xootr
LUNAR Design co-founded the company Xootr, which invented the most efficient scooter to connect the last miles between home and work / public transportation and work. The Xootr scooter is great to ride and easy to transport. The unique design uses authentic materials and can awaken the child in every adult. The front brake with handlebar grip has been part of the basic equipment of this folding scooter from the beginning. The system consists of a brake lever like on a mountain bike plus a cable that operates an aluminum block “hidden” under the fork. The skate rubs against the front wheel to gently brake it. The rear brake under the fender, more classic, completes the braking system.
Compact pneumatic tire boardy with front handlebar brake
Boardy® scooter also used a V-Brake handlebar brake to ensure braking of its foldable city scooter with inflatable tires. The XLC handle has a particularly pleasant non-slip grip. The small pads adapted to the dimensions of the 12″ rims brake powerfully in all conditions.
